Your Interview
Thank you for making it this far in our HR process and also for your patience. It is very important to us that we carefully select the right VAs for our business and also for our valued clients. We also want to make sure we are a great fit for you and your goals.
Your Interview will be 20 minutes long and we want you to be prepared, so we are giving you some information to help with your interview preparation. Here are things we want you to keep in mind:
(1) Be on time for your interview. If we say 2:00pm, please don't arrive at 2:05pm.
(2) Your interview will take place on WhatsApp Video
(3) Have your headset adjusted correctly and make sure your microphone is turned on and working. Also do your best to be in a quite child/pet free space.
(4) We will be listening to your standard of Spoken English.
(5) Be "Confident" in your interview, do not be Shy or an Introvert - as you will lose marks for that.
(6) Try not to call us "Sir" or "Ma'am". Our clients are from the West, they do not expect you to call them Sir or Ma'am.
(7) For many of our clients it is the first time using a VA - so many want to start with only 10-15 hours per week. Once they understand how great VAs are, most want to then increase the VA hours to 20 or 30 or more hours per week. We are going to pay our VA's well and place them in good Christian working environments. Think about what you would do if the Client wants to increase your hours to 25 or 30 hours per week, or more. We will ask that question.
(8) Time of day: What time of day do you prefer to work? Mornings, Afternoons, or at Night?
(9) You will be a Contractor to ChristianVA - not an Employee. We will be paying you, and we will make sure that you are looked after properly and also receive pay rises when you deserve them. You will be part of our large VA team. If you have any questions about that structure, please ask.
