Many people come to the Lord, but many also fall away. It has been said that as many as 80% of those who come, eventually walk away from Jesus. Once they come, then leave, it is much harder to bring them back again. The Lord gave me the words "Save the Saved", and that is our main Mission. To help those who are Saved, to remain on their own personal walk with, and to God, our Lord Jesus. To strengthen them, encourage them in hard times, to pray with them.....to walk with them.
How?
Many people who come for prayer are already Christian, or on their way to becoming Christian. It is our job as Prayer Partners, to first Pray for them, but then also Walk With Them long term, for months....and maybe years. Pray for them, encourage them, teach them, strengthen them, carry their load when they need it, listen to them, answer their questions, and help them when they are in pain, in life. Our ministry is about caring for them, loving them, and keeping them close to God.
Written Prayer: Prayer Requests will be sent to you by our Administration, on WhatsApp. The person sending the prayer request could come from anywhere in the world, but all will be able to communicate in English. The person requesting prayer will always be of the same sex as you, and will have provided their contact phone number so that you can connect with them on WhatsApp. Some people not on WhatsApp will provide an Email address.
Important: You will only contact the person in Written Form, on WhatsApp. You will not contact them, at least initially, by phone, or video, or by audio chat. Please follow this rule, as it is important. The person you are praying for will most likely be in a totally different time zone to you. So give them space, and allow them to read your messages and prayers - in their own time, and then respond.

Prayer Partners (PP's) have the job of "first contact". Many clients who send us prayer requests are desperate, in sadness, in sickness, and in urgent need of your contact and prayers. Please contact clients within 24 hours if you can. If you cannot contact clients within 48 hours, please send a note to me or our Admin, and where possible we will reassign that prayer request.
We aim to stay in contact with clients over the long term. And this is really where our main mission lies. To keep in touch with clients, to walk with them, to help them maintain a strong healthy relationship with God. We might contact some clients 2-3 times a week for a start if they are in a desperate situation, other clients we might contact 2-3 times per month, and with some clients 3 or 4 times per year, but we will also encourage clients to contact us when they are in need of support or prayers.
PRAYER FORMAT
(1) Introduce yourself as a team member from Your Prayer Partner.
(2) Tell them that you are a Born Again Christian, and that you are responding to the prayer request they have recently sent to us.
(3) Read their prayer request.
(4) Pause, connect with God. Pray that God will speak through you to this person. Listen to God.
(5) You might provide an appropriate Bible scripture. (You can copy and paste any of the Bible scriptures from our 40 Promises of God page within this website - see page link below).
(6) Write out your prayer request, and provide your own encouragement to them.
(7) Thank your client for the opportunity to pray for them.
(8) Remind the client to come back to you directly whenever they feel the need for more prayer or encouragement.

Don't overdo your prayer
All of us love praying. I pray often during my day, constantly chatting with God, and praying. Many of us in our churches are used to grand and often lengthy prayers, which we all love. However….. some, and possibly many of the people sending us Prayer Requests, are only babies in Jesus. Some have never had a prayer prayed over them before. Some have never been inside a church. Your message and prayer should not be too long or complex - keep it simple.
With our Prayer Requests, we don’t know at what level these people are. So we have to be careful we don’t “Overdo It”. Most of our clients will be expecting a short prayer with possibly a Bible scripture included.
Keep your prayers reasonably simple (but always connect with God before praying). If a client responds to you, and you get to know them better, you can then adjust your communication and prayers for them. We want to care for and connect with our Clients, not risk scaring them away.
Computer Aids to write your prayer
Just a word about the temptation to possibly write prayers using computer-generated AI programs such as ChatGPT. Please do not ever do that. We are instruments used by God to pray for our Clients. You are trained to "Pray before praying" - because sometimes God has a message He wants to deliver to your Client "through You". If you use an AI program, then that takes away the opportunity for God to use You. We have a Special Opportunity before us whenever we pray for a Client - you must treat that opportunity with respect and pray what is in your heart at that moment, after you listen to God before praying. Sometimes God gives us "unexpected" messages to give to our clients.
Pray before PrayingSome years ago, when I was a young Christian, I was praying for a couple who I did not really know. I asked God to speak through me if He had a message He wanted to give to them. Almost instantly God gave me a very unexpected message to give to them, and I knew instantly the message was from God as it was in English that I did not normally use. God's message to them was "Unto You a Son is given". I gave this message to them - they looked at me with great surprise, as they had not shared with me that they had been trying for a number of years to have a child. Exactly 9 months later - they had a baby boy.
This is why it is very important to pray before praying to allow God to speak to and through you, should He have a particular message for your particular client. And this is why we don't use computer programs to generate prayers for us.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
